Hello CodeGeekz Audience ! For this month’s edition of Fresh Resources for designers and developers, we’ve included lots of tools, frameworks, freelancing resources, JavaScript resources, open source tools, CSS resources, and much more.
In this list you will find both paid and free applications to simplify your workflow, also they are sure to be useful to designers and developers for both pro and newbies.

1. Smartmockups
Smartmockups is a new online tool for all designers, marketers and developers out there. With our curated collection of the best free product mockups you can present your design like a boss! It’s really useful when you need to present your design to a client or just showcase your work in a portfolio. All mockups are ready for both your personal and commercial projects.
2. Reedsy
Reedsy is a beautiful production tool that takes care of the formatting and conversion, before you have even finished writing. A beautiful interface built for distraction-free writing. The style guide toolbar keeps you in control of your formatting, as you write. When it comes to typesetting, consistency is key. Exported files are ready for instant distribution to ebookstores and POD services with IngramSpark, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, Apple iBooks and Kobo Writing Life.
3. MJML
MJML is a markup language designed to reduce the pain of coding a responsive email. Its semantic syntax makes it easy and straightforward while its rich standard components library fastens your development time and lightens your email codebase. MJML’s open-source engine takes care of translating the MJML you wrote into responsive HTML.
4. Phoenix Framework
Phoenix framework is a productive web framework that does not compromise speed and maintainability. Phoenix brings back the simplicity and joy in writing modern web applications by mixing tried and true technologies with a fresh breeze of functional ideas. You can create rich, interactive experiences across browsers, native mobile apps, and embedded devices with our real-time streaming technology called Channels.
5. JS Tips
JS Tips is a collection of JavaScript tips, some of them revolving around syntax, some about code efficiency and performance, and some others are specific to a framework like AngularJS. New tips are added daily and there are currently 50 tips issued. It is essentially a must-bookmark site for every web developer.
6. Color Safe
Color Safe is a color generator palette for the web. Unlike tools that we have been previously mentioned in this series, ColorSafe will only generate color that complies with the WCAG standard for color accessibility.
7. Vagrant Manager
Vagrant Manager is GUI application to control Vagrant. Similar MAMP, where you can stop or run Vagrant, and see which Vagrant is currently running. The app is available for OS X and for windows.
8. Mo.js
Mo.js is a complete package of JavaScript animation library. It comes with a couple of presets so you can set and run the animation quickly. It is modular, allowing you to remove unnecessary functionality, as well as fluid and smooth.
9. Branches
Branches is an iOS app that lets you manage your GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket projects from your iPhone or iPad. It lets you navigate open or closed issues, see all commits, and renders Markdown perfectly (including images).
10. Meatier
Meteor is awesome! But after 3 years, it’s starting to show its age. This project is designed to showcase the exact same functionality as Meteor, but without the monolithic structure. It trades a little simplicity for a lot of flexibility.
11. LettError
LettError gives you scalable, interpolating vector shapes that can make themselves fit in a range of rectangles. It depends on Snap.svg and jQuery.
12. Spine.js
Spine.js is a framework for building JavaScript MVC applications. It’s simple and lightweight, without a bunch of complicated widgets to configure and theme.
13. Bliss.js
Bliss.js is a set of helpers and light syntax over Vanilla JS. It was designed to be used with Polyfill.io for maximum browser support.
14. Fansoro
Fansoro is an Open Source, fast and light-weighted file-based Content Management System. That’s Easy to install, upgrade and use. Fansoro provides basic API’s for plugins, themes and core developers! Content in Fansoro is just a simple files written with markdown syntax in pages folder. You simply create markdown files in the pages folder and that becomes a page.
15. Morphy Toolbar
Morphy-Toolbar is a morphing toolbar that can expand or collapse at any time. It’s easy to integrate with several customizations already possible.
16. Cocycles
Cocycles is a search engine for open source projects and code. It currently supports JavaScript, but support for PHP, Java, Ruby, and more are on the way.
17. Gatsby
Gatsby makes it simple to turn plain text into dynamic blogs and websites using React.js. It supports Markdown, HTML, and React.js components out of the box, and it’s easy to add support for additional files types.
18. Reem
Reem is a static site generator written in JavaScript. It has both a command-line interface and a programming interface that works for personal and automated production of static sites.
