Hello CodeGeekz viewers we are here with yet another roundup of fresh tools released recently for developers. This roundup for September 2014 includes myriad of web apps, frameworks, libraries, and mobile apps to simplify your development tasks.
In this article we have listed Fresh Tools for Developers September Edition. Following tools are free and useful for your development and design projects, We hope you will find the list handy and useful for your projects. 1. Shout
Shout is a web IRC client that you host on your own server. It stays auto-connected with no configuration. It offers a great desktop (web-based) UI, including embedded images, videos, tweets, pastebins, and more. And it offers fantastic mobile apps for both iOS and Android, for both phone and tablet form factors. Best of all, it’s free for download and released under MIT license.
2. The Play Framework
The Play Framework combines productivity and performance making it easy to build scalable web applications with Java and Scala. It’s built on Akka, Play provides predictable and minimal resource consumption (CPU, memory, threads) for highly-scalable applications. Play is developer friendly with a “just hit refresh” workflow and built-in testing support. With Play, applications scale predictably due to a stateless and non-blocking architecture. By being RESTful by default, including assets compilers, JSON & WebSocket support, Play is a perfect fit for modern web & mobile applications.
3. Impluse
Impulse is a library for building dynamic physics based interactions, with a focus on mobile web. You can create animations that flow naturally from the user’s movements. Rather than animating properties for a set amount of time, impulse takes a start position, end position, and velocity.
4. Haml
Haml (HTML abstraction markup language) is a markup language that’s used to cleanly and simply describe the HTML of any web document without the use of inline code. Haml functions as a replacement for inline page templating systems such as PHP, ASP, and ERB, the templating language used in most Ruby on Rails applications. However, Haml avoids the need for explicitly coding HTML into the template, because it itself is a description of the HTML, with some code to generate dynamic content.
5. Plain Pattern
Plain Pattern is An SVG based seamless pattern maker. This is currently a work in progress with more features to be added soon. It has been tested on IE 10/11 and the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Not fully tested yet on iOS and Android devices.

9.Duo

10. Ment.io
Ment.io gives you @mentions and macros widget based on AngularJS, but with no dependencies on jQuery. The mentio directive is applied to any element that accepts selectable text input and exposes an ngModel. The mentio directive watches the ngModel of the element for changes. If the user enters a sequence of non-wihtespace characters starting with a trigger character, a typeahead menu appears.
11. Scala
Scala is a pure-bred object-oriented language. Conceptually, every value is an object and every operation is a method-call. The language supports advanced component architectures through classes and traits.
Scala’s approach is to develop a small set of core constructs that can be combined in flexible ways. This applies also to its object-oriented and functional natures. Features from both sides are unified to a degree where Functional and Object-oriented can be seen as two sides of the same coin.
12. PerfBar

13. CouchDB

15. Fibonacci

16. UILang

Jekyll Now makes it easier to set up a Jekyll blog by eliminating a lot of the front end setup. It eliminates the need to do anything in the command line, and eliminates the need to install runtime dependencies and more.
